ACCOUNTABILITIES:
-Accountable for timely and correct product-related information to/from Wartsila Engineering Centre stakeholders (4s JVs, Wartsila Product Groups, Wartsila Order Intake Depts, etc)
-Accountable for correctness of Configuration for the assigned product(s)
-Maintain and efficient and world class process, looking for continuous improvements.
-Accountable for good relationships with Joint Venture Companies departments concerned to Release coordination and Change Management in particular (Technical, Purchasing, Logistics, Project Engineering/Management).
REQUIREMENTS:
-Good knowledge of project management/scheduling tools (MS Project, or others)
-Basic Knowledge of 4-stroke engines.
-Good communication and relationship skills towards both internal stakeholders and external bodies.
-Teamwork skills and open mind, ability to confidently work in multicultural teams.
-Understanding and applicability of quality processes
-Cross functional view, cost awareness and effectiveness
-Able to respond in a flexible way to possible sudden changes in scope and priorities
-Knowledge of Wartsila Product Information & Configuration process, Team Center PDM system (Product Structure Editor), SAP (project structure) is seen as an advantage.
-Good command of English, both written and spoken. BSc, MSc grade or similar education level (Mechanical, Marine or Industrial Engineering is preferred.)
-Minimum 2 years’ experience in Product Engineering or Production Planning.
