Responsibilities
o Document business use- and test cases with Microsoft Office products and UML diagrams
o Perform manual tests
o Develop, run and maintain automated scripts for quick regression test
o Understand customer business and complex technical solutions
o Ensure first level of bug investigation
o Troubleshoot production problems and validate fixes after investigation phase
o Validate performance requirements
Communication
o Work and collaborate closely with developers and business key users
o Regular and accurate reporting
Methodology/process
o Use methods, test process and good practices
o Ensure quality of delivered software
o Contribute to test environments and infrastructure improvements
Requirements
o An engineering degree in computer science or equivalent
Profile
o Willingness to travel
o Good communication and collaboration skills in English
o A good knowledge of Windows Platform (Unix a plus), TCP-IP networks (CORBA, a plus), Databases (MS SQL and ORACLE a plus), SHELL scripting language (some programming language a plus)
o Experience in modeling and documenting use- and test cases in UML a plus
o Experience in bug investigation a plus
o Experience in software or system engineering a plus
o Experience in industrial SW testing methods and frameworks a plus
o Experience of testing Siemens software products like Teamcenter and/or NX a plus
o Experience of testing Web Services (SOAP, REST) a plus
