Job Title : Service Engineer
Department: Service
Reports To: Country Manager (REINTJES China)

Primary Function:
The position is the driving force behind effort to improve field service effectiveness and customer satisfaction by striving for continuous improvements.

Responsible for after sales market (service and spare parts), sales /order coordination and marketing of marine gearboxes in the China market so as to meet company’s objectives and clients’ specifications.

Duties & Responsibilities:
•Maximize profitability and increase after sales service and spare parts sales by supplying gearboxes which meet or exceed customer expectations
•Attend to enquiries and prepare quotations
•Service and Spare Parts Sales order administration / coordination including project follow-up
•Participate in sea trials and commissioning of gears
•Overhaul of gearboxes
•Develop sales opportunities, close deals, process orders with our suppliers and customers
•Visit customers and participate in site meetings where applicable.
•Provide technical, sales and application support to markets
•24 hours and seven days a week on call
•Coordinate, participate and/or lead seminars and trade shows
•Travel is expected to service support customers
•To have very close communication with all the various internal departments

Minimum Requirements
•Engineering diploma/degree or equivalent with at least 5 years of industrial/marine sales, application and/or service experience
•Relevant experience at managerial level
•PC literate
•Able to work independently and handle work pressure
•Good communication and interpersonal skills
•A team player with lots of initiatives
•Ideally speaks and writes fluent English
